Our growing medical office has an immediate opening for an
experienced, multi-talented person to fill a key position
as receptionist and representative of our functional medicine
practice. This is a full-time benefited position which offers a
pleasant work environment, competitive pay & M-F hours. This job is
perfect for an organized, energetic, customer service orientated,
self-starting individual with a desire to work for a positive, team
orientated practice with emphasis on health and healthy lifestyle.
Minimum qualifications:
-1 year medical office or relevant medical experience
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
-Proficient in MS Office
-Ability to use a multi-line phone system
-Keyboard - 40 wpm
-Demonstrated ability to multi-task
-High school diploma or GED
-Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Essential responsibilities include:
-Patient check-in & check-out
-Respond to patient & general inquiries
-Collection of payments and sales
-Scheduling
-Routing/documenting patient & staff messages
-Document filing & organization in electronic and paper formats
-Data entry into an electronic health record
-Organization & maintenance of general office forms & supplies
-Assist with inventory maintenance and stocking
Salary – hourly, dependent on experience
