Job Purpose:
Meet and greet each customer as he/she enters the lobby or your work
environment. Identify the needs of customers and prospects for a
variety of general banking services through a proactive, needs-based
sales approach. Establish customer rapport and trust by projecting
an attitude of "friendly professionalism," in order to exceed the
customer's expectations.
Mandatory Job Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships
with customers, managers, and associates. Level I requires 6 months
sales or cash handling experience, Level II requires 18 months of
Teller/New Accounts experience, and Senior requires a minimum of 3
years of Teller/New Accounts experience. Professional and personable
presentation, with the ability to maintain a high level of energy.
Team-oriented. Good communication skills. Attention to details.
Dependability, and ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations. Experience
with PC, 10-key, and various office equipment. High school graduate
or equivalent preferred. Must have vehicle and valid driver’s
license as this position will require travel within the
Eugene/Springfield area.
Desirable Job Qualifications:
Knowledge of banking products, policies, operations and regulations,
including checking and savings accounts, as obtained through
previous new accounts and/or sales experience in a financial
institution.
