The company is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the design and development of innovative hydraulic cylinder products from concept through production. This individual will provide technical leadership, oversee a small team of engineers, and ensure new and custom products meet customer requirements, manufacturing standards, and regulatory guidelines. As part of the leadership team, this role will help align engineering initiatives with the company's strategic goals while driving continuous improvement and technical excellence.

This position serves as the primary technical resource for customers throughout the product development process, partnering with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities include developing product designs, reviewing engineering drawings, managing engineering change notices (ECNs), supporting prototypes and product launches, and ensuring designs are cost-effective and manufacturable. The Engineering Supervisor will also be responsible for estimating hydraulic cylinder projects, preparing bills of materials, and identifying opportunities to improve material and manufacturing costs.

The Engineering Supervisor will mentor and develop a team of up to five engineers and support staff, assisting with hiring, training, performance management, and professional development. Success in this role requires strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to build lasting customer relationships and work cross-functionally to achieve company objectives.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience), supervisory experience, proficiency with SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, and the ability to travel up to 10%. Preferred candidates will have a master's degree, Professional Engineer (PE) license, several years of experience designing and manufacturing hydraulic cylinders, a background in metals manufacturing, machining, and welding, and experience with the Made2Manage MRP platform.
